If it is FS then yes. Why do you need to confirm official information from people of the forum?

 

I had a discussion with an agent with regards to the work requirement of 489 FS. At first, I have been told my current job will not count as it is not a regional area so I need to transfer work.

Obviously, anyone will feel concerned with this comment considering you have been with the company almost 2 years now and established your career. Transferring to regional area is not an ideal option.

I checked with another agent and told us the basis is designated area not regional for 489 FS.

 

I thought to check in forums as well since I am pretty sure some 489 FS have already completed the application who might be in the same situation as me.

 

Quite surprised with your question mate - isn't people go to forums to check visa status and other info who are experiencing same issues or concerns?

Hi Ambar, thank you for the reminder. Unfortunately, the master degree I have can't satisfy all of the three conditions. My program lasted for 18 months even though we didn't have winter/summer vacations, theoretically it equals to two years. However, I don't want to bargain with the CO given I have booked IELTS before CO contacted me. Thank you, anyway.

May I ask everyone here who applied 887 visa that.. did u guys give form 80 at submission? if you did not give then did CO asked for form 80... Thanks in advance[/

 

Are you guys not reading the list of requirements? If you wanted a faster approval, what holding you of not submitting it before CO contact?

Got golden email today ( 12th oct ) direct grant. I strongly suggest to attach all paper's so case officer don't get any chance. It seems they are far more quick than few months ago. Thanks and good luck to everyone. Please keep sharing timeline - helpful for others.

Quick question. Do they send you an email when a CO is allocated or the visa been granted? Or do you have to log in to your immi account and have a look?

 

I have applied through agent and I got email from him 5:30pm yesterday ( direct grant ) . I never checked into immigration account as I applied through agent. I think you were ahead of me as per timeline. I wish you get direct grant today. Wishing you good luck.
