The cunnah's have a case officer at last

We got a phonecall yesterday from our agent and guess what WE HAVE A CASE OFFICER.......but he is very new and very thorough and has asked for more info/documents so not in the clear yet!!!!

Spent all morning in the local Aldinga Library printing off the documents that have been requested so all being well we will get these sent off asap and god willing our visa will hopefully be granted soon.

Although as we took the gamble as quite a few of you know by coming out on a ETA 3 month temp visa we will HAVE to vacate OZ over to NZ for about 5 days to get the passports officially stamped!

Hi Gill,

 

Probably the biggest gamble is that the CO doesn't ask you for anything from the UK ie ref from somebody. Trying to chase someone from the otherside of the globe for a bit of paper would be a nightmare.

So long as you have funds to support yourself and to pay for the trip to NZ then things should be okay.

No its not ideal and not many people would have done what you have done. We wouldn't have come over without the visa or jobless so hats off to you for going for it. You must have really hated the UK.

Gill so pleased you have go a case officer, won't be long now. After we sent the Australia values statement we had the visa 2 weeks later. Hope all is going ok for you, very brave getting over there with out it. I will keep everything crossed you get it soon.

Hi Gill and Family

 

We met at a meeting in January at Mascrat Manor don't know whether you remember us - Lorraine Steve and Reece. Anyway we have also received an email today from our agent saying we have been appointed a case officer. We sent our application in January. We have not had our medicals or sent police checks but that will be the next job now. Hope you receive your visa very soon. Hope all is good in Adelaide and maybe we will meet up again someday.

that's great news, we were going to do what you have done and come over on a temp visa, but decided against it as we would have been eating a whole lot more into savings that we just couldn't afford to do.
