We are thinking of doing a pre meet meet in the way of a BBQ on the Saturday Afternoon/evening on the campsite so the more camping the better. We will arrange details when we've worked it out nearer the time. I'm not camping but will be visiting the site as I live fairly local. I will look out for the flag and say "hi".

Just make sure that youve tested your tents , if there new, before the meet.

I remember years ago , B.K. (before kids) Ralph n me went to Gordale Scar in a new 2 man tent , and the heavens opened. The top seam somehow let the rain in and we spent the night with a bucket between us, catching the drips. From then on we have always taken a sheet of Visqueen (sp) (plastic sheeting) or an extra ground sheet , to fasten over the sleeping bit of the tent. Just incase.

For warned is for armed and all that!
