Daughter has a part time job at last!

Following on from recent posts,about the difficulties with my 18 yr old daughter getting a part time job i am pleased to report that she has finally been offered a part time casual job for over the summer with Big W and has been assured there will be hrs available after Jan to assist with uni expenses.

 

Thanks so much everyone for the messages of support and suggestions,so appreciated.

 

Wonderful to have some good news at last.

Congratulations to your daughter, we too have had a similar thing, we didn't push our daughter during years 11 and 12 as she was studying, then her first semester Uni timetable was all over the place with her going in 5 days a week - when she finally started going for casual jobs she then didn't have any experience. Finally, on her way home from Uni she saw a sign in a shop, called in with her CV on the tues, had an interview on the Thursday and offered a position ... What a relief lol
