White goods - to bring or not to

Bring everything you can fit in. We packed out container to the max but still left things we regretted and should have made room for. Lol just remember every item you leave you will probably have to replace once here. And the costs keep rising. Good luck

I would agree, you can always get rid of stuff you find you don't need once your here, Houses are generally bigger so you will have the room. We were already taking our 3 piece suite but we also bought a new 3 piece suite and got it delivered to the shippers to go straight in the container.

Must say though that we did not bother with things that were due for renewing any way, in our case these were the white goods and TV. (fridge and tv were some 15 / 10 years old)

Sounds silly but don't forget you can pack the drums of those things with other items you may want to transport. Same goes for any drawers in furniture. No sense transporting empty space if you can help it.

Put the fixing bolts back in the drums as well otherwise they might get damaged during transportation.

aldo depends how long you will be waiting for them - we were without our stuff for months and had to buy a fridge/freezer and spent massive amounts of money at the laundrette too. (so glad now my stuff has arrived!!)
