  1. That's better than we get with Telstra. Have you had any problems with it? Many thanks, Cooler
  2. Hi, we've been having big problems with our broadband, here in Sellicks. We've been having frequent dropouts and I need it for work and my wife has online uni work. Just wondering if you can tell me the speed you have been getting? http://www.speedtest.net Cheers, Cooler
  3. So it would appear that my father will now need to see a doctor to complete a form http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/health_check_form.pdf Glad I've seen this thread - thanks. Cheers, Cooler
  4. I am not sure who/what you are disagreeing with. Cooler

That's a shame, but thanks for all the help and chat you've had, on here. Cooler
  6. Ive been thinking of starting a new thread Cooler
  7. Hmm, always turned it down. My wife had the jab and if she doesn't get this bug, I'll have it net year - very scientific! Cooler
  8. I would recommend looking at the DIAC website, as the answers are directly there, for your questions. Here is a link for the 190 visa. http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/index/visas/subclass-190/ Cooler
  9. Three of of us have been struck down with this awful cold/flu. Have any of you guys had the red cross, painted on your door? Cooler
  10. Are currently teaching? If yes, then I would think that as long as you know the subject, you should be ok. The ability to teach year 11 and 12 science is preferably, particularly physics. Cheers, Cooler
  11. ACARA now, for maths and some other subjects. Cheers, Cooler
  12. Found this: http://www.ahc.sa.gov.au/webdata/resources/files/Woodsmoke_Article_2009.pdf Cooler
  13. Great game, Queensland all the way - even with the strange way they pronounce it! Cooler
  14. My wife trained to be an Enrolled nurse, here in Adelaide. She has a permanent job at the RAH and loves it. She has dropped her hours so that she can study to be and RN and is a quarter the way through! We both love our jobs and have made lots of friends, English, Australian and South African. We have four kids and they love living near the sea and just the daily life in and out of school. I know there is at least one RDNS (community nursing) nurse on here but the one I know has not been online, much. I'll ask her about community nursing. Science teachers can find work here especially if they can teach year 11/12. Cheers, Cooler
  15. I have not found it a problem. We live in Sellicks Beach which can be cool and we had no heating, last year. It does depend where you live as people get some ice whereas we get none. The older houses seem better suited to warm weather and can be a bit draughty - we have no cooling Personally, I like to have a change in temperature, but I do love our wood burner! Cooler
  16. Dont think so! But you never know! Cooler
  17. Big fan since the early days, but have never seen this amazing cover Off to enjoy the silence, Cooler
  18. Ah, good. If it will cope with it, then it should be ok when my MIL comes at Christmas Cheers, Cooler
  19. We were there on Monday and I got there at 11:15 and it was no problem. Hope all goes well. It can't be as bad as the Women's and Children's, I had to wait 1.5hrs to get a space before my sons operation, last week!!! Cooler
  20. Science to year 12 is very helpful and if you could do physics to 11/12, better. I have only heard stories of how hard it is to get a job in primary, but maybe that's changed. All the best, Cooler
  21. Hi cormac, the ability to teach maths to year 12 will certainly be beneficial and if you can teach science to middle school or physics to year 12, well then even better! Got to be flexible, here. Cheers, Cooler
  22. Thanks guys, got some time off coming so will sort it then. One other quick question, have any of you ever put a heavy piano on laminate. Everyone reckons it will be fine but I am thinking of cutting a board to put underneath to spread the load. Cheers, Cooler

    Internet

That means you have a landline, but it's not switched on for the phone. You just use the ADSL and you can use VOIP for phone calls. Yep, we had it before and loved ADAM and being naked Cooler

  25. Thanks for the reply, I was hoping for metal on top. But, if I don't find any, then that may have to do. Cheers, Cooler
