Hi When we got our visa granted my business in the Uk was doing well and we had good friends and family around us .But we gave it all up and moved to Adelaide .I also ask we we did not do it years before .Life is what you make it ,but give it a positive go and you will be okay .Good luck. Dean

Hi There is a South Australian Vw club ,worth contacting them .They do a couple of shows a year and last time there where a few Vw Kombi's for sale .Lots of Kombi's around Victoria and the Gold Coast if willing to travel. Cheers Dean

Hi Yes i did the course in 2007 .It consists of going to peer for 2 weeks and going through a work book .You can do it at home as well if you want .The stuff in the book is regs,maximum demand calculations,volt drop and cable selection etc .Pretty easy as you all get to talk .At the end you get and exam which can take you from 2 to 6 hours they are pretty flexible you can also go on a lunch brake half way through the exam as well . Hi I know the post office at Marion shopping center does it .Download the forms and fill them in,but make sure the forms download properly and you get every thing that's on the screen on the paper(Long story). You will need to make an appointment though ,you need to phone them then they will give you a time .I seem to remember it was about $300 not sure. Cheers Dean

Hi When we moved here we stayed in Semaphore for a few weeks and i loved the beaches .But then we came and stayed at the Port Willunga caravan park for 3 months (Long story) .The beaches and the country side totally changed the area we wanted to live in .It is totally personal to each and every one in exactly want they want from there new life .Just come with a open mind and dont make any quick decisions and take in lots of different areas.Good luck.

Hi I have a friend (er herm) who has just been done for speeding .He has been caught speeding a few times .He is wondering how he can find out how many points he has left on his licence .Also he is a sole trader and it was his work van that he got the caught speeding in .It was a mobile speed camera on the side of the road .Can he say he was not sure who was driving the vehicle at the time and pay the extra fine.Any help would be grateful and passed on. Best to head down Middleton way .Knights beach is a good one for body boarding .Sometimes you get good waves to the right hand side of Moana beach as well .I always check Magic seaweed .com.
