  1. Honestly, I'd take the offer if I was you Kate. After all, I would DEFINITELY get my PR in just a couple of months
  2. The time line for file review is currently over 2 months unfortunately
  3. That's not good Kate. Sorry about that but I know you'll get there. Once you submit the requested documents (which you already have) and click that button which says you have submitted them, your status will change to "Further Assessment"
  4. Hi all, I am not a silent follower on this platform. Today, CO has not contacted me and I have not received my golden mail. I'm therefore still waiting. Thank you all for reading.??
  5. That's something new. I never knew COs make phone calls
  6. I have the same message in my immi account. Anyone else?
  7. Hi RCBC, Nothing yet. The wait keeps going on and on....hoorah hoorah.
  8. Welcome. Your processing wouldn't delay if you upload more documents. You can add more docs anytime before a CO is assigned. Your submission and last updated date will remain unchanged until a CO is assigned. This is regardless of how many additional docs you upload. Cheers
  9. Hi B3st, you might find this link useful: http://www.expatforum.com/expats/australia-expat-forum-expats-living-australia/76939-usa-police-clearance-certificate.html All the best.
  10. I'm actually not expecting lots of grants till July. We just have to relax and wait. They'll eventually give us our grants, no matter how long they take
  11. This isn't fair at all. I wonder how your ex's address is relevant to your pr application. Looks like witch hunting to me.
  12. You may also add any letters you received from the SA government. Drivers license notification for instance
  13. I think it's best to fill and submit form 80 since it's a form of character assessment. Do it for yourself and your partner. Waiting for CO to ask first will further delay your grant.
  14. Hi 887, When we were applying for 489, my wife didn't have to write IELTS because she used her first degree which was studied entirely in English. We have done the same for 887. Your wife's 3 year full time course in English should meet the functional English requirement. You may choose to add a cover letter explaining how your wife meets the functional English requirement.
  15. The reason I gave for mine was "INCORRECT CLASSIFICATION"and they did the correction
  16. You should be an immigration agent Russki. You're an expert at this
  17. Yes Geelong is regional. I'm however not from there.
  18. Keeping your private health insurance in addition to medicare is entirely up to you. Medicare covers most health issues but not all. So depending on your health profile, you might want to maintain your private health insurance or rid it off. Personally, I've never had private health insurance cos I just don't need it.
  19. Hi Tpsk, My daughter was born here in Australia and she didn't do medicals prior to applying for 887.
  20. Even though CO requested for medical examination(501) only, BUPA added blood test when I called in to book an appointment. They said my daughter would have to do blood test in addition because she's above 2 years. I just had to go with the flow.
  21. Hi folks, So...Sophorn contacted me today to request for medical examination (501) only for my 2.5 yo daughter. Just as I expected.
