  1. Yes it is. When do u want to pick it up? :-) x
  2. Hi, I have a memory foam mattress that I no longer need. Queen size (UK King size). Free to a good home lol. It would be ideal for a temp measure until your stuff arrives from the UK or as a guest mattress. I can even throw in a couple of sheets to keep you going. Must pick up as I have no way of delivering. Thanks, Nicole xx
  3. Diane, my son is seen every yr for a 'check up' but is seen every 3 months for fluoride paste to be applied and also has just had a plastic coating to his adult molars as well. He has had fillings when we first arrived as his teeth were is bad shape. Considering i had just taken him before we came here and 'everything was fine'!! The tooth decay was horrific and he had many procedures to get him into the great shape he is now. All that for $40 per year is a bargain. However, he does not have some adult teeth and never will as the buds have not developed so we are under an Orthodontist as this is beyond the scope of the school dentist. This was identified by the school dentist after an xray and they have been great working alongside the Orthodontist. We have private medical cover but i choose to use the school dentist rather than taking them to somewhere private.
  4. Children are greatly subsidised with regards to dental if you take them to the school dentist. My sons have been for the last 2 yrs and can't fault them. Google it and there will be a list of the centres near you or ask the school.
  5. Hi, Can anyone give me a quote on completing the storm water at a new build plus putting in driveway & perimeter paths? I have all the plans if you want me to pm you, just think the builder is charging too much. CONCRETE WORKS Supply and Lay charcoal concrete to single driveway and 1m paths around dwelling includes site prep, rubble Base and finish, soil removal up to 10 tonne included STORMWATER Supply and Install stormwater connection to kerb (Subject to engineers drainage plan) We will need a patio at the back too but won't do is until we move in as think I may want an under covered area too. thank you
  6. Thanks guys, Mitchell Park it is
  7. Thanks. We are looking to build on a plot and by a park just dont know that area very well. Looks ok driving round. All the houses well kept. Whats the Marion Hotel like for a beer / food?
  8. Hi just trying to find out a bit about this suburb if anyone can shed any light? Possibly thinking of settling here. Thanks xx
  9. Only need a fence on one side which is about 20m. Plus a gate. The deal is fixed price but takes it over $400k which means we dont have enough deposit so developer has suggest omitting the externals @ $25k to get it on budget. Just concerned about the stormwater system and the implications if we leave it out to do later.
  10. Hi. We are looking to build a house seen the land etc. However in order to maximize all the grants we need to keep the build to under $400k. We can knock off the externals, they are $25,500 and the sums add up however how much would it cost after settlement to complete. The list is:- Water tank Stormwater system Soft landscaping Internal & external fencing Clothes line Letter box Paving and supply and install Crossover and footpath repairs Hope someone out there can shed some light on the costs. We may need to call on your services in a few months!

  12. Anyone else having delays on their tax refunds? We submitted on line 40 days ago and still nothing Had an email to say they are processing it and to wait 30 days for refund but still nothing. xx

  14. Hi, We are moving out of a fab doggie friendly place in Fullarton (Gumtree ID 1006106287). Dont let that put you off as not near the beach, bus stops right at the bottom of the rd and takes you straight to Glenelg. You are 5 mins from the city, right by the hills and there is a dedicated doggie park at the top of the rd. Also the owners would be open to offers on the weekly rental. Bit dated but huge and fab area. In my search for a new house I have found that anything that is new and nice is not doggie friendly at all. Or if you are prepared to compromise on area, you can get one. Try looking further south if you want pet friendly and modern. Good luck xxx
