  1. sorry to butt in but althow an a class spark can install solar pv he is not qualified. australia have mcs acredition for solar pv and if your after getting a job doing it you will have to gain it. ive spoke to them and they said with uk c&g solar you could aplie for temp acredition getting 12 months to gain full acredition. all depends what you what to do when you get there, in the uk c&g cost £600 in ozs same coarse cost $2000+ at the end of the day if you do the c&g here once youve done the ozy regs, you can aplie or temp mcs acredition and you are allowed to fit solar pv to the grid and i done know about you but i wouldnt fit anything to the grid without a peice of paper and insurance to do so
  2. hi my names carolyn and we have fell in love with portnoarlunga after just coming back from a holiday there! we are nearly there we have our medicals on the 21st of may and are in the middle of sorting out police checks.my husband is an electrician do you think he could get work around this area??we are hoping to get there after xmas with our 2 girls aged 13 yrs and 3.and our chocolate lab.we are hoping to rent for a while untill my husband has job security and we know where we want to settle. is there any bad areas??? so excited i cant wait as its a beautiful place i want to see my children grow up in.my husband loved fishing on the jetty and chatting with the locals(they showed him how to fish) are there many rentles that will take pets do you think? i will be very grateful for any advice you could give us :-)

    hi were in the same boat we are waiting for our state sponsership to come through we applied end of january for adelaide.we found the adelaide bound website usefull.my husband is main aplicant for the 176 visa.its so long and drawn out its unreal!!we are hoping to be out there next easter if it all goes to plan.we are also going over this april to have look round so hopefully we will find some suberbs we like.i look on here and get useful tips !!!   4. hi my names carolyn and were just waiting for state sponser for adelaide and then we can apply for visas!my husband is an electrician and we have 2 girls age 13 and 2.we really want to be there by easter next year and hope the visas go in before july when it all changes again.we are going this easter for a holiday to perth to see family then to adelaide cant wait but i know we wont want to come back and still have to wait a year before we go for good:sad:were staying in port naulunga(sorry im crap at spelling) and going to have good look around while we there.any ideas where nice areas,schools etc are any imformation is much appreciated....... we have been toying with idea to emergrate for years and finally made decision last year to do it!!my husband has been electrician for over 20yrs and has always found it easy to get work but last year he got laid off and it took 5months to get another job and is working for alot less money then when he was in his 20s!! i work for the local council as a support worker for adults with learning disabilites so my job is underthreat in the next couple of years so we just thort LETS DO IT!!! so now the waiting game has begun!! we put in our state sponsership in december does anyone know how long it takes??? thanks for looking at my post and any advice would be much appreciated:goofy:
