You and your child can apply but your wife has to meet the residency eligibility. It is actually the residency history of the parents in Australia that matters, not the child.

Adults have to apply for themselves, meaning she needs her own immi account. The documents you need will be listed on the attachment section of immi ac.

Finally got invited for Ceremony. Applied 11th Aug 2021 Test 24th Sept 2021 Approved immediately. Ceremony 12th Nov 2021 City of Salisbury, SA Exactly 3months from Application to Ceremony! The Lord be Praised! In their website, they had listed last ceremony date for this year was 25 Nov. Thus, don't lose hope even if they are saying next Ceremony is 26 Jan 22. It could happen sooner. Like I said before in this forum, anything is possible to them that believe!

Am not sure whether you did get help. While applying for 887, the visa number is left blank. Do not fill anything. Sad that this minor detail caused you alot of distress and delay.

Indeed this is a very quiet group. Anyone knows whether we can apply citizenship for kids as we await to fulfill the residency requirement? I noted that kids do not require to satisfy the residency criteria.

So happy for you. Only those who have been like you can understand. Indeed sometimes you just have to surrender to God. In my case I got a response every time I complained via the feedback in immi ac. Last response was that they were not gonna respond to my complains again. I had complained as a suggestion once, complaint once and compliment last. Three times in total. I also complained by email and was responded by generic. However, when the CO contacted, she quoted my complaint and said I had not provided evidence of what I was talking about so was told to attached requested information. After my last complaint, as a compliment and being told off, my Grant came a week after.

All waiting times have been removed until 31 Dec 2020. It's only for that long. Enjoy while it lasts

There are no waiting times. You could be eligible for family tax benefits and Parenting among others. Just apply, like I did... Waiting for outcome. In my case I have 3 kids and my wife has not returned to work with no maternity leave... Been hard.

It all depends with the case officer. Just pray they don't because Bupa appointments can take long at the moment.
