    Thank you 👍

Just worried as I am currently stuck in India with family due to travel restrictions. Can you plz clarify me what would be the process of granting visa like I can get pre grant or what?

    Thanks

Don't worry, once you do PTE (or whatever English exam they want us to do - which I think a bullshit 🙄) you will be pre-granted. All the best

    Hi all

I applied my 887 visa on 23rd January 2020 and today on 27th July my case officer officer requested for functional english evidence. I got my PTE result today. But I got 31,38,43,28. Overall score is 37. I don't know whether I got desired score.

It is good to see the queue is moving .. Now sure how many applicants are in January 2020

No, I was not student here. On 489 My wife was primary applicant. On 887 I am the primary applicant. I am bus driver.

Cool, that is fine. All the best for your next attempt.

On a side note, you don't have to study here, if your wife was an oversea's degree holder and if you can provide a letter from the uni, that is fine.

That does't matter, you should be eligible for pregrant at least. Haven't you called them and checked ?

Looking at the trend, they are more keen in clearing 2019 and before files. Just yesterday we started seeing few direct grants and Jan 20.

Looking at this trend they have reached August 2019 files which they initially asked for more docs.

If we see end of next week they have cleared all backlogs then most probably end of august they should start touching March  only if they keep the processing speed same as it was last 2 months. JAN and Feb have little application according to information share on FB 887 group so mach should be nearby

This is my view and my understanding

    Legend !! Thanks @TAS887

@DVR Did you mean JG as JP(Peace of Justice) here in Australia?

I applied 887 visa in this 2nd July. My full name has used all the document including AFP and others but in my Payslips my employer use "Mohammad A Islam" instead of "Mohammad Aminul Islam" . That was happened due to Bank made this brief name to deposit money and I also forwarded my employer same. So now bit confuse regarding this. Could you please suggest should I also take a statutory declaration from JP regarding this?

Further to my last comment, you are giving your payslips along with the bank statements (and Super) , so they can match the values.

Sorry, yes I meant was JP. Yes. get a statutory declaration signed, saying all the names refer to the same person. These things can't be considered as issues bro 😊
