There is now a whole bunch of people wondering if it's true that they will have to bear this weight until July. With the added uncertainty that the visa-rules could change in July! Considering the price we paid, I'd say we have the right to be informed...

Why is there no official post of this anywhere? Wouldn't they make an announcement on their website?

Well, it depends on how much additional documentation is requested. From what I heard it can go very quickly if your application is pretty complete. I've read cases where the grant was provided the day after allocation, others needed a week or sometimes two to finalize. In my case, if they ask additional documents, I need to get those translated by an official translator, and that takes more time.

Hi, Normally it's up to 7 weeks for a CO to be allocated. (Myself and several others are in the 6th week of waiting) When asked to do the medicals, inform the CO of the pregnancy. He/she will most likely suggest to keep your application on-hold until after the pregnancy. If you are lucky maybe he/she will allow to skip the X-ray, but I doubt it. Hope this helps Good luck
