Who went to see Elton John recently and what did you think of the outdoor venue concept (at Coopers) ?

 

Better still who is going to see Rod Stewart in a few months time ?

 

Gave Elton a 7/10 which was a bit harsh but he did play for over 2 hours

 

 

Give Meatloaf a miss this time and turned out to be a good choice compared to his previuos concerts here.

Loved Elton thought he fantastic considering he is an old fart now lol... Vocal was great, musicians were brilliant,

First time we had been to an outside venue but was amazed at the way his hands whizzed across the piano. Old fart? True but still an entertainer. Hope rdsStewart is as good

Have seen Elton John three times in the UK.....twice in Newcastle, but once at Raby Castle, near Darlington.....best gig, just him. Wouldn't go and see him again, cos nothing would top that. Saw Rod Stewart once, at Gateshead Stadium, another great concert....trying to persuade older son to come with me, but he won't wear the wig....Both great artists to see in concert, just belt out their hits for a few hours, not, as some newer artists, on stage for half an hour...

Well did anyone go last night ?

 

Will have to pick a 'younger' concert to go to next time.

 

Enjoyed the show but reality is like we are all getting older even the superstars of the world.
