Some local history for my fellow migrating poms

Hey you guys and dolls moving over, everyone told me Australia has no history. Since then I have found loads of interesting history. A must is the Holdfast Bay visitor centre at Glenelg just near the jetty, voluntary donation at the door. Have a look at this link.

might have to copy and paste it. The link is not about the visitor centre but has a taster of the history of this area, imagine what you could find snorkelling or scuba diving around these jettys?. Got my wetsuit see you down there!!

Adelaide Museum is a great place to spend an avvo,especially during the winter months.

Port Adelaide Visitor Centre is also useful for information and you can have a good walk around, visit the Maritime Museum (okay so it's not Greenwich!) and then have a beer at one of the several pubs!
