Morning! Just need a little help understanding Rego... I have been led to believe that when you Register your car it includes basic level insurance & then you need to ring an insurance company to cover you for the rest, is that correct. We have had SGIC recommended to us.

Also do they do MOT's here? In England you can't get your car taxed without your MOT Cert how does all that side of things work here... Please??

The insurance part in your rego will only pay for someone that has been injured in a accident if there is no insurance cover, they will not pay for car damages.Try Coles on line or Budget direct they have good prices..There is no MOT just look after your car if its an older car get it serviced say every 10000ks or if newer every 15000ks.
