Evenings in the Southern Suburbs

Hi Everyone,

 

Does anyone know of any classes/quiz's etc on in the evenings during the week around the southern suburbs? I am open to ideas and different things, I work full time and would like to do something during the week after work with a couple of friends.

We do a few quiz nights with friends/family. Mostly when we see them advertised in the Whats On sections but there are a few that are longer standing monthly things we pitch up to now and again. Having said that, not been to a regular one in a while, just the odd one off quiz night.

 

I'll see if I can remember or dig up where was running some.

My folks were here last month and we were at Jimmy Deans (Panthers Footy club in Noarlunga) and we stumbled upon a trivia evening which was on a Thursday. I went there again with friends last week (Thursday again) and we joined the trivia. Best that we could do was third place and a $10 discount from our next meal! Winning table did have the advantage of Google on their phones though...cheating buggers!

Food was Ok and advantage of 2 for 1 schnitzel evening as well!

Some of these are south of the city but the expressway really cuts the travel time down, especially off peak so travel is possible throughout the city. That also means northern folk venturing into the south...:biglaugh:and vice versa..

 

As you said....maybe see if you can get a few people together and have a fun evening...
