My guess is that you provided the form 80 but in the form where you were requested to fill in employment and education info, you left gaps in time while it specifically said not to leave gaps. That's just a wild guess so I may be way off, but just take it as a little reminder if I'm wrong.

Not only I didn't leave any gaps I even wrote the history since my birth!

My suspicion is - no one actually looked at my form 80 :(

I submitted the new IELTS result last Friday. So, I need to be more patient than you. Relaxed, that's good for all family members.

Hi Guys,

My Case officer has requested my wife's IELTS, however I had uploaded her old IELTS (that was for 2 years ago). Then I have uploaded her Cert III in Accounting and Cert III in Child Care a week ago, but I haven't heard any thing from the the Case Officer so far. So I am wondering if there is any way to contact her to ask whether my evidences are good enough or not?

Thanks Guys

Hi 22June,

Assuming that your doubt is , how long does it take for a grant after the CO allocation happens ?

I would think roughly after 28 days or close to a month. If you scroll up and skim through the past forum posts, that's how it has happened so far.

Either you get a direct grant straight up or gets a CO allocated leading to a grant in a months time (provided CO is happy with your set of paperwork).

I am giving you an insight according to the trend followed, don't have any official info to support this though !!!!

Hope it helps....cheers !!!!!

Hi Mattsalimi,

To prove functional English these are documents that you need to submit

http://www.border.gov.au/about/corporate/information/faqs/how-can-i-prove-i-have-functional-english

In your case as you have submitted proof of Cert III studies, is it equivalent for a degree ?

Another fast and best way would be to get in touch with an Adult Migrant English Program or AMEP accessor, usually operates within TAFE and get an assessment done for a functional English.

This method is good as its costing you nothing and fast compared to IELTS or TOEFL or anything…..All you have to do is call and then take appointment for an assessment.

And if by any means if someone fails this assessment, you get 510 hours of English education for free, including free child care for the days of class (info for people who are going to apply for PR in next 6 months).

So recommend people to take advantage of this government initiative.

Please find the link below.....hope it helps guys

You were right actually, there were gaps (not in years, but in the description).

They wanted to know what exactly I was doing when I was unemployed.

I so wanted to write "Played video games and ate chips"

But I guess in reality they just want to know if you were traveling or did anything dangerous.

DO NEED HELP

Anyone knows about FORM 1023- notice of incorrect answers

in my application I select"de facto" relationship statue, even I'm the only one apply to 887, my boyfriend was not included in it, now CO also ask for evidence of de facto relationship. I and my boyfriend only living together for 8 months, there not much evidence to support our de facto. So, I'm think to submit form 1023 to correct my relationship statue.

if I submit, anyone think that will make my application get refuse?

please give advise :notworthy:

To err is human, to forgive divine. We all make mistakes. I think you can send 1023 with corrections and explanation.

We withdrew my mom-in-law from previous visa application because of not enough evidence. Got the visa next day after we requested to remove her from visa applicants list.
