I think you will find that percentage wise petrol has increased here more than in the UK in the last few years. Depending on your income it may even be more expensive in OZ in real terms.?! During the GFC Oil went up to $150 a barrel, and petrol rose to $1.50 a litre. Now oil is down to $80 a barrel but petrol is $1.40-$1.50 a litre. Rip off Australia.!!

I've been there a few times. The Business Lounge is a fair walk from the gate so give yourself 10 mins to get there. As a business class passenger the plane won't leave without you, so don't worry. The lounge is HUGE with a good buffet, bar, showers, quiet relaxation room, internet and TV's. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

We left this college along with all other sensible parents who care about their children's future. This school has suffered for years from poor management and some (not all) complacent teachers. The school will not exist by the end of 2011. So PLEASE see the writing on the wall and realise this school is finished. Bail out like the last two Principals have. I should say the last principal lasted ONE day before she resigned, If you are considering private schools please look at Walford, Seymour, Scotch, Mercedes, Poultney etc etc. All of which will still be providing good education in 10 years time. Annesley is dead, and it is VERY sad but true.

The weather is free but has been pretty miserable so far this year! Just about everything except petrol is more expensive IMHO. I reckon you will need more than $80k with four kids. I have 2 kids, I don't smoke, I rarely drink, I don't live on any benefits and I earn $80k and spend $80k. However, the bottom line is that if you want your children to have a future move to another part of Australia or stay in the UK. There are no prospects in SA for young adults. And to all the 'clever dicks' who respond to any criticism of Adelaide as if it were a personal attack on them ...Yes I know where the airport is and will be using it because although the UK is miserable cold and violent, there is culture , better education and a future, and you can't say that of Adelaide.
