  1. Travelling interstate shouldn't be a problem, as long as you do not move to metro areas for some time. About your immi account, it is strange, I wonder if they have some problems with the system as some other members report that CO do not "see" uploaded documents in their immi account. My suggestion is to call immigration and ask them to check what they can see at their end. That's what I did this week. I asked them to check if they can see my updated AFP. They put me on hold for a bit and checked. Because previously uploaded AFP they didn't see. So it is best to be proactive, if you are worried.
  2. About work, yes, it can be casual and does not have to be consecutive, can be made up of several periods of working with gaps. But it has to be 35 hours working per week, as a minimum.
  3. I think it is a good idea, yes. Sorry to be a bearer of bad news...
  4. Is your middle name mentioned on your birth certificate? If it is a "yes", here is your answer. CO will see your birth certificate in your submission documents.
  5. Yes, it does look like they have a system problem. They do not "see" the documents we upload on their end, even though we see them as "received" on our end. This is crazy! I have filled in a form for IT support on immi site to tell them about this problem. See what happens. Ridiculous situation!!!!
  6. Thank you for sharing this with us!!! To me, this statistics shows that they have been receiving 887 applications all year and hardly processing them.
  7. As @JoeIAm said, you have to get a 489 visa for your wife first, before applying for 887. This way, you will later apply for 887 as a couple. But if you apply for 887 first just for you and get your wife in as a subsequent entrant after, this means she will be applying later for 887 on her own after satisfying the conditions of regional stay/work. Which is not ideal. So best apply for her 489 before you apply for 887. Good luck!
  8. Congratulations @Gracee!!!! What a wonderful grantful day we had yesterday!!! Enjoy new life!
  9. This is crazy! Yes, absolutely put a complaint in. I am surprised you still haven't. I can't believe how they treating you.... Use this link, just describe your situation and let them know what has been happening with your application so far: https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-and-support/departmental-forms/online-forms/complaints-compliments-and-suggestions
  10. Submit any correspondence you had for those addresses. Anything: doctors bills, car rego, junk mail, Coles loyalty card "Flybuys" statements, library card, - as long as there is your name and address on it. Yes, upload in "Additional documents/other documents" and click at the bottom of the page "I confirm..." button, if you have one.
  11. Hi @john snow, sorry it was not a grant. Unfortunately, these days it is the only way to submit docs, via immi account. Previously, it was fine to email them, but these days they do not accept documents through email. All emails are no-reply type. The only other way I can think of is to post to their PO Box, but again, they don't like us doing this. Please look at your letter carefully, it should give you a checklist of requested documents and below it there is an explanations of what exactly they want you to supply. I don't blame yo for not trusting Immi account, as you never know whether they see those attached documents or not and there is not way or knowing.
  12. Hurray! More grants! Congrats!!! Updated our tracker again.
  13. It MAY be, or MAY not, but I really hope it is verrrry soon!
  14. Congratulations!!! happy happy news today!
  15. Long awaited grant!!!!! Congrats @Honey, so glad for you!!!! Will be celebrating today!
  16. I think she is just busy dealing with immi request - people normally drop out for a bit when they get a request. But I am sure she is OK and will be back with us soon.
  17. Hi @Sharky0903, it looks like you have the same issue as me and some other members - your AFP is still valid! It will be valid till July 2019. The immigration have some fault in their system, they just sometimes do not see the documents attached in your immiaccount. I have the same problem - attached a new AFP cert in February 2019, shows clearly as attached, but they cannot see it at their end. Try to call them and ask, if they can even see your certificate from July 2018. Or did they ask you to do new AFP with different/alias names?
  18. Hi @Kusai, please have a look at the next page from the page you have shown us: there should be a more detailed explanation there. Please let us know what it says. Just read everything carefully. Most likely, it is form 80 and an AFP certificate, yes.
  19. Congo? I wonder if there is, some other way of doing it....

  21. I have been back to the UK since... So I reapplied for mine. D'oh! And, thinking about it, even after I received 489 I still stayed in the UK for further 6 months... So I defo needed one again!
  22. adelaide.gsm.team10@homeaffairs.gov.au - we used this one in the past, but from 1 May 2019 they made this one "no reply" and you cannot send anything to this one. They also have this one: no.reply.gsm.allocated@homeaffairs.gov.au, and gsm.allocated@homeaffairs.gov.au but it is not for emailing to them, as all emails come back with the following autoreply: How do I provide documents or update my information? All documents must be uploaded to your ImmiAccount. Do not email documents to us. If you reach the attachment limit for an applicant, you can attach more documents to other clients on the application. There was another email, too, I cannot find it. Maybe, someone else can help? My impression is that they cut all possible means of emailing them. They just want to be left in peace.
  23. Congratulations @Sonu! Love happy silent followers who often make our day!!!! Enjoy your grant and thanks for sharing!!!!
