Hi. In citizenship application should we upload our parents documents?? If they are not migrating with us.

Guys I'm applying for the citizenship . I was just wondering do we have to get local PCC?

One of my mates just got the grant Applied on 21st january Was contacted before this..

Theu didn't ask me coz i never left Australia after the application

Yes actually i forgot to mention i did update my AFP before it got expired

Yeah you can..a lot if people here have done that I didn't go for that option as i never wanted to give them opportunity to ask for more documents.. i had transcripts but preferred giving test to acaoid delays.. its a personal choice

We did appear for PTE it was faster and result came out pretty much the next day..

Nope no form 1221 No pcc requested again

Thanks everyone.. thank you so much..really appreciate.. i will be waiting to check everyone's grant here.. especially @Russki @Don Family and all other who are waiting since long.. To answer everyone's questions.. Applied - 10th feb CO - SOPHORN No kids as of yet..so no HAP ID n stuff was requested.. n yes i did file a complaint and i am not sure if this is related to that or what.. One thing is when I called them couple of times they did open my file and said looks like evrything is done nd just finalisation is pending. After that i did put in a complaint and yeah got the grant today.. No I did not apply through an agent and did not certify any documents.. i was away for 6 weeks in these 2 years and did not make up that time.. If there is something left pls reply.. Guys i cannot believe I am writing this message. Yes you are right Yes its i have received my golden email. I have got my visa 887. Its a direct grant. This is the first time we have been contacted and its a direct grant. I cannot express the feeling at the moment. It has been a painful wait. Good luck to each and everyone here.. this has been an amazing forum. Applied on 10tb feb Direct grant today.

Does someone knows any one who has filed for a complaint with ombudsman and what has been the outcome for it??

If they finish jan applicants in feb.. we might have some hope for feb applicants in march

When did u apply?? I would say go n visit your family. There is no point waiting and stressing yourself out to wait for the visa. God knows how long its going to take and what immigration is planning for us. I think just to avoid any further delayed get PCC and upload Before they ask..

No updates mate.. No one has any idea about what's happening.. Does someone know how many jan applicants are left ??

Called them 5 times.. its of no use.. they answer like a robot.. you have to wait.. there is nothing we can do .. just wait as there is no processing time for this visa

Mate, Ask for the hap od and get your babies medical done before they contact you.. dont wait for them to ask u.. you can save couple of months with that

Thats a standard reply when u call them Every time i call them.. what they say is your file has been picked up.. it just about to be finalised.. so just hang in there.. shouldn't be long..
