  1. Quick question guys:- I am filling out the 887 online application form and came through below question. In the application its only me(primary applicant) and my wife.  I have already provided the details of my wife in the online application.   Do I have to add my wife details in the Accompanying members of your family unit section ? My wife is already included in the application.  Its just me and my wife in the application.

What do I have to add in the Non-accompanying members of your family unit section ? Only my parents and my sibling details or my wifes parents and siblings details as well ??

@Skaur I applied from VFS melbourne for PCC  in person on 22nd oct but still no update. The Processing time varies on case to case basis.Average processing time is between 5 working days to 45 working days. I am also waiting for it. Usually it takes 2 weeks

Just to add that medicare card will not cover your ambulance cover in case required; you will need private insurance for ambulance cover.

@Dee I have already done 1 year couple family subscription with VIC ambulance. So i think its best to unsubscribe from the private health insurance after I get a medicare card. What are your thoughts ??

Take your passport and copy of your 887 bridging Visa to the nearest Centrelink office.  You do not need an appointment.

@MZH Thanks. Is it the same medicare card which the Permenent residents get or it is something different. Does it have similar benefits to what PR holders get ?  Is it necessary to have private health insurance after we get medicare card ? Just curious to know.

  5. Hi guys- Quick question in regards to medicare after we apply for 887.  Do we have to take an appointment at the medicare office for getting a medicare card or we can go as a walkin as well. Also do we have to just take the passport and only the bridging visa or there is something else we have to take also ?

Listen mate, this is a voluntary forum, and is very helpful. It just seems that you are frustrated when you do not get an immediate answer to your queries, this is not an on-demand service. We can only give opinions. Some of us had to pay for advice through agents so you have no right to make demands. Get off your high horse and if you don't like what you see then take some $ out of your pocket and pay an agent.

@TakeItOnTheChin Mate it looks like u are more frustrated because of waiting times. Listen mate I neither demanded for help nor i am begging anyone to help. If anyone can help with what he has experieced that is always appreciated. I just gave my opinion as to what everyone is here for and  I beleive everyone is here to share their experiences. Redirecting to agent anyone can do that

@Akie, with the number of questions and queries that you are making, I suggest you go through an agent. Understand that it is costly but at the end it will save your life and time. Please don't be disrespected but checking your quotes for the last 4 weeks, it seems you have raised queries for each question of the every form form.

Happy to help you, but as some friend mentioned here case by case is different and you might not get accurate information.

    Ta

@Doman OK so what is this forum actually for? Can you please clarify? I understand everyone's situation is different like some have kids, some are single. Is this forum just to monitor who got the grant and what is the timeline only and then congratulate that person who got the grant and ask him then who is your case officer? Is that what this forum is for? Well I believe this forum is for helping each other with their experiences rather than pointing fingers on each other and referring to agent which is rude. If I know something which I have experience about I definitely share that in the forum and I have been an active member of this forum for quite a while now. So no hard feelings. If you feel offended by answering to anyone's queries then God help you

    Cheers

So many people got it but no one comes in front to help. Thanks for answering anyways

@Skaur I beleive people here always are looking for the grants rather than helping here. I also have a same experience. All members have filled the online application 887 but when I asked for help nobody gave a clear answer

Finally, We got our Grant Email today.
    Now no more Stress...

    Application Date 27 April 2018

    First Contact 4th June 2018

If you guys working with Agent for your visa, plz check double or triple time make sure they put right Docs and all docs.
I have bad experienced from my agent who did not put my all docs they just put randomly. As results, Co asked plenty of docs. And have to wait longer and longer with stressful life. Don’t believe your agent.
Hope you all get your Grant Email.😀😀😀

Congrats on your grants !!  @Ak887  Agents are just money makers. They hardly bother about your time and application especially in regards to docs. Some agents even mispace the docs and then ask for it again.  I never go through agents

Hey if you are unhappy, pay for Immigartion agent
    It is so annoying

@Max well I believe this forum is for helping each other and guiding towards the right path. If you are not interested in helping then don't help. This forum is not just for watching who got the grants or not. This forum is for helping each other if we have any issues. If it's annoying for you then better don't comment. It's a public forum any member can post
