Guys after holding 887, how much time we have to wait to be eligible for citizenship? Can we apply for citizenship immediately after we get 887?

Also wanted to ask do we have to attach form 1221 also?

What I did in my application, I created a photo pack showing my my enjoyment moment of my life with my wife for the past 10 years. I then changed it to pdf file and uploaded into my account. I am sure that was one of our reason's for direct grant.

RE PCC, if she came to Australia before June and she obtained the PCC in June, you don't need to renew her PCC. However, once you submit the application, you might be better to renew them every 6 months to be on the safe side. Honestly, if you are submitting your application, you don't need to worry abut the PCC at this stage. You will do after some time.

My wife came to Australia in Sept 2019 but she got her PCC in June 2019 when I applied for her 489. Do I have to apply again for PCC next year? @Doman

just had a call with VFS customer support. Protocols are set by high commision  and in adelaide ofice we dont need to give original  while as in melbourne vfs office we need to give original.  This is soo strange and painful

Why do we need to give the original passport to the VFS office in melbourne ? @SUDIP        @Dee is in Adelaide and he said VFS doesnt take the original

@Dee Got my passport attested by JP today. I will now visit VFS office next week.  @SUDIP in the other comment mentioned that VFS office in melbourne takes the original passport.  Now I am bit confused 

6-7 days to get yourPCC  certificate. Also VFS site is self explanatory you can even browse that. If you are in Adelaide; staff in VFS office in Adelaide is very helpful and will answer all your questions. I have answered separately also that you do not need to submit your original passport; they will just vet it, all you need to give is certified copy of your passport (certified by JP).

VFS will not keep your passport for PCC; all you have to do is take a copy of your passport and get it attested by JP and submit that with your application to VFS.
VFS takes passport only when you apply for new passport i..e in case of renewal of passport etc.

Hi Guys-  I was living with my brother initially for 5 months. Now i will have to get the stat declaration signed by him.  Does anyone have the content of what we should write in that declaration? 

Has anyone who has lived in sharing or without any residence proof  provided the stat declaration ?  If anyone can provide me the content that would be much appreciated.

• $42.00 for each National Police Check application from a government department or an individual.
• $99.00 for a fingerprint and National Police Check application where fingerprints are supplied to the AFP on application.
• $139.00 for a fingerprint and National Police Check application, where fingerprints are taken and processed by the AFP.

Do i have to mention NO for me  and  YES for my wife who recently did medical when she got 489 subsequent ?

Hi Guys- Quick question- While I was filling the online form for 887 do I need to do health examination again.  I have done my health examination when I got my 489 in 2016 and my wife did it recently after I applied for her 489 subsequent entrant visa.  I am the primary applicant for 887 and  my wife is secondary applicant.  Do I have to do health examination again ?  experts PLease suggest
