  21. Hi just updating messages. Working as a TRT now for the last 4 weeks and have only had 2 days off, so there is work about and also turning down approx 3 jobs a day. Be warned you get about $100 a day less in a private school if you are on tier 9 for state. There is a vast difference between some state and independent schools. I must say I am loving it. Schools very different to yo the UK but in a good week x x x kathy
  22. Walpdorf Steiner school is absolutely fantastic they have their own approved curriculum. It is a very unique school in appearence eg the library is in the shape of an open book the science lab a sound wave and the year 4 Viking ship. The children are the centre of everything. It is fee paying but in my opinion very much worth it. Have a look at Steiner education on the net. Good luck . Seaford rise us lovely but the school is about 10-15 minutes away by car . kathy
  23. Hi both Completely agree we have been here almost 8 weeks and like yourselves we love the place. Granted there is lots to do but as you say we have moved half way across the world,. there are too many people on this sight sharing doom and gloom so all I say is live your life and don't listen to others. You decide on what is best for you and your family and only you! everyone does the research on a country before you move and remember you have to work for what you get nothing is handed to you !! Adelaide, the place, the people and the weather are all great. Kathy
  24. Hi kate thanks for the message but booked already for the 15th wish I had used the link though x
