Kangaroo!!!!

Today on our way to the Colennades Shops, on Beach Road, between South Road and Expressway Roundabout just after Elizabeth Road turning, we saw a Kangaroo Hop across the road a few cars in front of us. Was very busy both ways and surprised it didnt get hit. It hopped off across the reserve and down the side road.

 

Seen a few at the Onkaparinga River National Park but they were a bit far away, so seeing this one close up was great.

Seen a Koala running up the footpath of Brighton Road/Lonsdale Road just as it goes up the hill heading South. Never realised those things can move quick. Run along footpath the veered left into side street.

Had a koala happily strolling along at the bottom of our road where it meets Regency Rd in Happy Valley last year! Koala's are regular visitors at Reynella East School....

Watch out for those koalas, must be coming up to mating season soon, judging by the grunting.....

 

Went up to Mount Lofty the other day and there was a lovely big 'roo just basking in the sunlight in the shrubs right outside their door!

Not so good when the kangaroo hits you, as happened to us - think yourself very lucky on this occassion! They are great to see and up until it bounced in front of us and landed on our bonnet I too liked seeing them near the road - no longer think that...

go down Saurbiers road near you there are Heaps of them just sat around.....@ The Dimmocks
