Finally taken the plunge and moved to Adelaide....left the other half in Port Lincoln for now (untill I can get him over!). I'm based in Glenelg and work in the City 8.30-5.30. I'm keen to meet some new people in Adelaide so please get in touch if you would like to catch up. I do not have children but it doesn't bother me if you have some )

Well I find myself in a similar position... I have just moved to Adelaide from Brisbane with my partner and know nobody other than my other halfs brothers and one of their girlfriends, so am super keen to meet people and get out doing things. Hi Everyone, thanks for your messages...I have not logged in for a little while and did not realise all these messages were here! I cannot do this weekend or next (since I have the pleasure of commuting back to Port Lincoln), but a week night soon is good for me.

Hi there,

 

Me & my husband moved here in January, we've met a few friends both pommie and Aussie round the Glenelg area and are always up for getting together for a few drinks and a bit of socialising. I think The Dublin in Moseley Square is a pretty good old-style all-purpose pub, and easy to get to as the tram stops right outside it!

 

How about meeting for a few afternoon drinks on Monday as it's a public holiday would anyone be up for that?

We'll be there from about 2pm for a couple of hours would love to see as many of you as can make it. We'll sit upstairs on the balcony - look out for a 30ish dark-haired couple, or my number is 0406 379 660 if you want to call and make sure we meet up.
