Hi Delta, Nancy, Perl, Bala and all,

 

I have a Great News to share, I got My 190 Visa Grant a few minutes before. Thanks for all the support.

 

I applied for my 190 visa on 6th November 2012

I completed my medicals on 9th November 2012

Got my PCC and for my spouse on 19th November 2012

Case officer allocated on 27th November 2012

Case officer asking for the same documents as email attachment on 30th November 2012, I forwarded the same on the same day

This morning 14th Dec 2012, when I was checking my online application status, "from progress it changed to finalised" visa grant letter sent to my agent.

My Case officer is from Brisbane team 33, Hope this piece of information may help.......

I am still in the process of getting my med and PCC.

 

My med is scheduled for tomorrow n my PCC is pending for verification from local police. (Hubby's PCC done already)

 

I hope to get my documents ready n uploaded by early next week...But after that I guess there would be Christmas holidays so may be the my Visa Grant may go to Jan next year....unsure.gif. I really hope that everything goes fast n i get to move to Adelaide asap...:wubclub:

 

Also, @Suresh:- Sorry, i did chk the mail but dint get time to respond to it.

My entire process took 8 months...I think doing PCC and Medicals early helped me a lot....

this is my first post, i have been reading your posts over the last few months, I applied for my SS Sponsorship few days ago, exactly on 8 December and I can tell you, im counting days.

 

I started my process early 2012 but the IELTS took me 3 times to get 9,8.5,7.5,7 overall 8, each time i used to get high score in 3 parts and 6.5 in one subject until I finally passed all of them, thank GOD

During that time my agent suggested we finish the Skills Assessment and this was smart actually :)

 

I just passed week 1 and I can tell you, I feel like ill go crazy by week 14 :(

 

but I'm really happy each time I see your updates

I received the invitation to apply for the visa today.

 

I have a question ?

 

when is this invitation going to expire ? is it 60 days from today or 60 working days from today or 60 days from the day we have submitted expression of interest ?

 

Happy to see everyone's visa granted.

I just saw the invitation letter on skillselect and found the exact date before to which I have to lodge the visa.

Hi update... I received a job offer for the end of January and I thought the visa would be here by now but after looking into ive been told that my medical notes haven't been uploaded ( wasn't told until I investigated!!!) and that my OH has been referred which means it will be another 2 months!!! Had to turn down the job, (gutted as teaching jobs are hard to come by!) and back to the waiting game!!! :arghh:What is it they say " don't count your chickens until they are hatched!!?" How true is that?? Never mind the best things come to those who wait! Good luck everyone else....maybe your visa will be a lovely Christmas Present! :xmas15:

Hi lifeisbeautiful,

 

if u want to put your current status as signature, go to your profile and then to settings.Under My Settings on the left hand side, you will see the option"Edit Signature". There you can put in the information about your application status.

 

Hope this helps as you have been struggling to get the signature updated.

The website of SA has updated the processing time is 12weeks. They are also considering application submited since 10 Oct. Waiting...

although I'm still far away from 10 oct but its a step on the way

Hey Waltzing Matilda sorry to hear you've had a delay!! Hope it gets sorted for you soon. Do you mind if I ask how you got your teaching job? Are you secondary? I was under the impression you had to have a visa/have completed courses in oz before you could work as one. Thanks!
