Hi all, I moved to Moana area back in January with my wife and two girls, I'm into road bikes/mountain bikes and my Ducati. We moved here from Scotland and I'm missing the opportunity to get out and do my sports, as I've had my head into working and buying a house.

anyone up for any of the above sports on a weekend! Or evening when it's lighter, let me know, I'm also up for a few beers or a jack D or two

Hey although I live quite a way from you I'm always out on my bike at the weekend (and weekdays to work) whether it be road or mountain biking.

Also a motorbike fan, was into trials in the UK but haven't managed to get back into it here yet.

Also partial to beer and JD.

So if you ever want a ride, or a drink let me know. Me and the wife are happy to socialise. (The wife won't bike ride, drinks only lol).

Hi,

I arrived with family on Thursday...bike is build (roadie) and im off with 'Muddies' for a 70km road ride at 7.15am...this morning...cant sleep at the mo...lol!!! Im based in Hallett Cove and was riding and racing in the UK...joined Adelaide Cyclists forum several months ago and have made some good contacts...

Cycling is a way of life for me and a big part of my move to Oz...well that and the fact that I would have been without a wife and kids if I had not come!!!lol!!!

Get in touch if you fancy a few miles...im not working initially so hoping to get the opportunity to discover what is meant to be an amazing place to ride.

Tommorow there Is a Gt demo day at craigburn farm trails If you are interest in test riding some of the gts. 8-3pm. You need your pedals, helmet, driving licence and credit card to test ride.

Hi all, thanks for the feedback, I have already checked out the Adelaide cyclist site, looks good, just need to make time to catch the Saturday morning runs. FYI Bluebell, the cycling is awesome here" I would advise utilising the many cycle paths, as you will soon learn" they drive like maniacs here. We move into our new home in a few weeks so busy packing! Again! Lol

Hi Kirsty, thanks for the info, I'm just round the corner from you guys. I would love to join Spence for a blast on the bikes anytime. Ask him to pm me for my number (removed as per advice) and my name is Mark, it would be great to hear from Spence to see where they go biking and to organise to meet up.

many thanks,

mark

Hi Darren, I know how you feel mate lol, how did the ride go on Saturday morning, I had a look at the route on the website, I would have came along but I had something organised with the kids. I work through the week, however I would be happy to meet up for a bit training on a Saturday or Sunday. I'm just along at Port Noarlunga, which has access to some great cycle paths that go through the Mclaren vale. I'm still exploring really, as I had a lot to organise when i first arrived. My name is Mark, (pm for mob number, removed on advice) I'm happy to hook up anytime, as I can't always make the weekend morning runs as I have two kids.

Cheers,

Mark

if you would like to take your bike onto the track at some point as well, malalla has track days monthly, lots of fun for motorbike riders, different groups for experience levels. You would certainly make some good friends there :) they just had one yesterday, so another in a month!
