@NicF, yup, we were lucky, both hubby and I were online bang on midday and one of us went for bronze, the other silver, compared what we had been allocated and then went for the silver section as closer to the front and in shade still. Price difference wasn't all that much either, defo worth it to see their semi final game anwyays.

Good luck on the day, hopefully you'll be there early enough to get good seats. Could one of you could go early and nab them, then the rest follow a bit later?

We are actually thinking about splitting up and one going to one area and the other another and see who can get the best seats. I'm sure we will be fine whatever. Once we have seats we can go off for walks round the stadium and I'm sure the kids will be happy with the idea of buying tea there. We got pizzas last time we ate there and they were very nice.

We took a packed tea last time. Mainly as we didn't know if we would fancy any of the food sold. As it was we still ended up buying a portion of chips for $5, which were good. We saw people coming back with steak baguette things and some lovely filled rolls so this time we plan to buy tea there too. Will still take our own drinks.

Good idea about splitting up too. Hadn't thought of that.

We got silver tickets too - funnily enough in almost exactly the same seats we sat in at the last game we went to (when we only had General Admission but there were lots of spare seats coz it was raining!) so very happy indeed.

Think it's great that you can take your own food and drink in (as long as not in glass or tins). Go The Strikers!
