:mad:No updates Yesterday.......Hope At least a Good day Today................come on Immi People......what you doing guys......Frustrating.....loosing Patience.....our forum cant wait any more......lazy officers in the world....our immi...........officers..........:dull::sad:please god......help us....

Hi Admin

Sorry If you mind but what i believe is no one is allow here to use this kind of language and show his/her frustration this way on IMMI officers. This forum always believe helping each other and now a days as processing take a long-2 time, I understand the concern of people who waiting long.

But don't forget that there were many who got their grant even in less than 30 days to 60 days. Processing maximum time is 6 months so everyone has to be patient

To curse the CO's not a solution and also no one getting outcome early.

I hope you understand and do something in this.

Thanks

Dear Kamboj,

Permanent Residency is a Goal .. either through 189 or 887.. my suggestion try hard for 189 or 190 visas, meanwhile get 489 (don't loose this option). as on 489 to 887 took so long time and struggle due to regional area living and work conditions mate. while staying on 489 start reside in regional area and work full time. keep trying to get 190 or 189 asap. Hope it will help.

Hi..

I need suggestion from all senior expats in this forum. Recently, i got approval for Skilled Provisional-489 from SA. I am scoring 60 points including 10 points for State Nomination. My occupation is on both SOL & CSOL with 8070 places which filled only 43 till now. I am confuse over these two choices as mentioned below.. please advice me :

1. I am thinking to come in SA on Skilled Provisional 489 now and as after one year i am expecting to get married and i will call my wife on Skilled-489 Subsequent entry after getting married. And after completing two year of stay & employment criteria (min one year full time employment), i will file Skilled Regional 887 PR for both of us which leads us to Permanent Residency.

2. Or now i revised my English test ability with 7 bands in each in IELTS. By revising IELTS i will able to score 60 points independently and i will get eligible to apply for Skilled Independent 189 PR. As i mentioned i am expecting to get married after a year, in case of 189 visa i have to go for Partner Visa 309/100 which i believe takes processing time of around 2 years to get PR for Partner.

Which option do you suggest?

Either go for 489 now and followed by 489 Subsequent Entry & finally Skilled Regional 887.

OR

To go for Skilled Independent 189 and followed by Partner Visa 309/100.

Please reply me on this i have to take decision i need your experiences on Skilled Regional 887 & Partner Visa 309/100.

Looking forward for your replies.

Thanks.

Hi All, How did you answer this question while applying online? Have you included all address you lived in Australia or just a recent one and your home country address?

" Provide details of all countries in which you, your spouse/de facto partner or dependents (accompanying or not) have lived for 12 months or more (since turning 16) during the last 10 years. The 12 month period of residence may be made up of a number of shorter periods. You must account for every year "

Hi All,

For those applying for 887 with a dependent(also on a 489/475 visa), is there any problem declaring him/her as not dependent anymore coz he/she got employed the time you apply? As we all know, on a 489/475 etc visas, a dependent is not eligible to apply for 887 in their own right because the provisional visa he/she holds was granted to him/her as a dependent. A dependent should be included when you apply for 887 visa as they can only apply if included in your application..Hopefully, anybody will share their experiences similar to this scenario. Thanks!

[h=1]Allocation dates for General Skilled Migration applications[/h]General Skilled Migration (GSM) processing centres allocate applications in accordance with priority processing arrangements; to meet the Migration Programme planning levels set by the government.

The tables below list the earliest lodgement dates for applications that have been allocated to processing teams. You can use this information to determine when your application will be allocated and to ensure your application is complete and ready for assessment.

This information will be updated in early March 2016.

This page no longer includes information about the pre SkillSelect visas (subclasses 175, 176, 475, 487, 495, 496, 885 and 886) because these applications have either been finalised, capped and ceased, or are currently allocated to a visa processing team.

Effective 15 September 2015, the minister set priority processing arrangements for certain skilled migration visas. Allocation dates outlined below reflect these priority processing arrangements.

[h=2]Achieving a faster visa decision[/h]Most ‘complete’ applications are finalised within three months of lodgement. Incomplete applications are less likely to be finalised within three months of lodgement because additional documentation may be required before the application can be finalised.

A ‘complete application’ has all required documentation, including form 80, form 1221 and police clearance certificates, uploaded to ImmiAccountand health examinations undertaken before the application is allocated for assessment.

Refer to the document checklist for your visa subclass for details of required information. Attach documents to your application or update your application details using ImmiAccount.

If you cannot attach documents using ImmiAccountthen you can provide additional documentation by emailing scanned documents directly to the processing team once your application is allocated.

If your application cannot be finalised immediately you will receive advice that your application has been allocated to a processing team. This will occur within two weeks of your allocation date and provide an email address for contact with the processing team. Any questions you have about your application should then be directed to that email address.

[h=2]GSM SkillSelect allocation information[/h]Please note that Migration Programme planning levels take precedence over priority processing arrangements in determining the order in which applications are considered. Allocations occur in accordance with the requirements of these planning levels. This means that when necessary applications in Priority Group 4 may be allocated ahead of Priority Group 3.
