Hi everyone, I am very new to this forum and following this one from last 5 days . Every one here in forum is amazing and it really help to track the visa application and as well as providide really valuable information.                                         I Applied 887 visa on 8th Nov and got the direct grant today morning and name of Co was Adam as mention just down in grant notification.                                         I was out of Australia for 2 month month during my 489 visa so I wait  for 2 month and then applied 887 as I was not in hurry.                         I was staying with my friend during first year and second year I taken my own rental.   I attached all documents including , payslip, tax paper, reference letter from employer, super account statements as well as all the letters which I received from MVR or from bank etc to show in my residence proof. I attached form 80 as well.                                        I have part time job in public sector and second job was just casual to cover my 35 hours in week.so I put all the pay slip and all the job offer letter.                             Apart from this I did some extra work and make one extra word sheet to put all the name of all documents which I attached so that co can understand easily that what documents I have attached for residence proof . For example I write my first residence and date of stay and then write the name of ducuments which I attached like, 1bank statement, 2Govt Letter3 statuary declaration.4Pay slip which had my address   , I even attached my work place pict to make it more strong with Work ID.     Thanks everyone it’s very long I write here , might be it help you guys. And I am sure everyone one who met the requirements of 887 will get grant soon or may b little later so plz don’t worry about grant as it is coming soon for all of you .Best of luck everyone and god bless you

Many congrats James!!! Thanks for sharing the tips to get a direct grant.

Sorry add to more , I went overseas 4 times after applying 887 and did not inform to immigration as I feel it’s not necessary as I was on 489 which was still valid.                                     And I only completed 2 years conditioning of residence, my family here only from last 1 year and I included them to 887 and we all got grant. Thanks Guys . Everyone will get grant in this form soon .

Hi mate, congratulations enjoy your freedom. Can you please tell me, your family all ready have 489 visa? They got 489 visa along with you? Or you just added in 887 visa directly? Thank you

This article might explain why there have been some delays in the Department’s processing in general. Although the article talks about citizenship applications, 3 challenges have been identified that might be the reasons for the delays: (a) axeing of hundreds of processing staff, (b) an increase in the number of lodgements and (c) a shift to automation. Nonetheless, we need to maintain the optimism that we have.9_9

I've been really nervous for past months as I've travelled 6 weeks in my second year

First year i was staying with my brother so I submitted the following documents

* Statuary declaration from my brother, Tax file Registration letter, Personal Bank statements, Tax Statements, Long service leave registration ( public sector)

For my second address - I was renting a room from private owner ( I don't have bills under my name )

* Rental agreement, Bank statements, Vehicle rego, insurance letter, Rental ledger( Stating bills included in the rent), credit card statements ( for last 2 years) ,private health insurance letter, mobile bill notices

I didn't travel for the first year, I visited home 4 weeks then i had to go back for my fathers' funeral 3 weeks, I only compensated 12 days , so attached my leave approval letter from CEO and father's death certificate to support my travel

Employments:

Offer letter, confirmation of probation letter,  Employment reference letter from HR, Payslips for last 2 years, PAYG summaries, Tax assessments letters

Character:

Australian PCC, ( I have renewed last week in case they ask for )- earlier applied on Oct

local PCC from my country  ( renewed this year)

other countries PCC where i worked ( renewed this year)

identify documents:

Passport, old passport, passport size photo, driving license, birth certificate

Other documents:

Form 80

489 grant letter

table of contents with documents name and details

Form 1023- Correction form for the mistakes

Hope this helps

Hey guys,

I'm a newbie to this forum, thanks all for sharing your updates : )

- I submitted my application 2 weeks ago and now I'd like to upload more evidence of my application,

just wondering if this will delay my process for 2 weeks?

Cheers!

Welcome. Your processing wouldn't delay if you upload more documents. You can add more docs anytime before a CO is assigned. Your submission and last updated date will remain unchanged until a CO is assigned. This is regardless of how many additional docs you upload.

Cheers
