Louise EP, yes It was me Asking about port Lincoln, We would still like to live there. My OH has been looking for jobs in the trade which he works and there seems to be some there. He is a car body painter. Can you please tell us were we need to be looking for a place to buy a house. We have looked at buying a land and house pack, are they as good as they seem?

Where have you been looking? I'd probably do it separately, we bought a block at Endeavour Heights Stage 1 four years ago and then built our own house (rural living!). Good areas are generally the north side of town (north of New West Road), Rustlers Gully & the Marina. Steer clear of anywhere south of Sleaford Terrace, Lincoln South area - or scum town as we call it! Kirton Point (which is around London Street way) has good and bad parts. You can line up a rental for 6 months when you get here and then figure it all out. We're building a couple of units at the moment so could rent one out to you, depending on when you arrive (and when the other half finishes them)! Any questions feel free to fire away!!!
