I found a cockroach in the shower yesterday, is it the heat brings them all out, oh yes and also oh found a earwig behind the bin!!!! so i will def be ringing these guys. Do they spray inside the house? How long does it take? Do they work weekends? Kelie

The great ocean road is absolutely beautiful and even if you are only stopping for lunch you can have a look at the beach, as everything is along the coast, would recommend Lorne:idea: for a stopover it is absolutely gorgeous, we stayed in the caravan park, it was lovely. Its a pity you didnt have few days coz the 12 apostles is also great!! Enjoy yourselves anyway!! Kelie:wubclub:

Wat does this protect against? I hate the ants!! they are everywhere, im spraying surface spray( MORTEIN) but its not really doing anything Can anyone help!!!!:arghh:

Hi all, i have not long arrived here, november to be exact and am trying to budget for bills!! Can someone give me an idea of quarterly bills for gas, electric and water. I am in 4 bed house with reasonable size garden and only use gas for cooking and maybe hot water( Im not sure how its heated!!!!) Any advice will be appreciated Kelie:jiggy:

Sorry to hear that,brings back memories, same thing happened to us but not so late in the move, but we also left our house to rent and are soooo glad we did. We have settled into life here great and kids love it, so it will def be worth it...... All the best with the future with watever it holds Kelie

We also sent ours before us, and thought it was great getting an unfurnished rental and moving our own furniture in straight away... Most times a few weeks are including in the price but they quoted us $40 a week to hold it if needed for longer, but thankfully we didnt need it as we got a rental before our contents had cleared customs.. There is a nye party for kids and fireworks display at 9.30 in Brighton which promises to be alot better environment for kids, also meens you can slope off before the "Fireworks really begins" and be safely tucked up at home with kids and OH to celebrate the New Year..... We are in the same boat, arrived a week ago... So much to do, have done medicare, centrelink etc and just secured a rental in Kurralta park. So am going to look at schools for kids 2mara. We are all loving it........ Cant wait to see everyone on saturday. Good luck to all waiting on visas

Very good, i've had a really stressful day and this has just made me laugh out loud!!!

I agree, we also left Oz to go to NZ and was soooo expensive, we promptly jumped back on plane and back to OZ!! Especially at this time of year...........

Am really concerned about the apparent lack of rentals!! We have a short term rental for 2 weeks and then we are buggered. Are there areas that are easir to get rentals in ??? Help!!!! we leave in 3weeks!!!!
