I don't think dogs are allowed in conservation parks, but you can walk your dog along the first bit until you reach the toilets. Another good place to walk your dog is Ansty Hill in Tea Tree Gully or Para Wira

I'd say ship it over, can work out very expensive replacing everything and starting over. Wish we had bought our tent with us

Hi, can't help first hand with St Agnes primary but my understanding is that most of the primary's in the North East are good. It's best to leave it till you get here and go and visit the ones closer to where you are living, that way your kids will have friends locally outside of school too. Other primary schools in the North East are Redwood Park, Greenwith, Golden Grove, Fairview Park, Banksia. ( there are more but I'm sure someone else will be on to list them) good luck with the move Wendy

There are lots of stay at home mums here, most on low family incomes but you make the best of what you've got. Lots of things to do that don't cost the earth. I haven't come across any negativity from working mums, a lot actually seem quite envious and would love to be able to stay home too, but everyone has different levels of affordability.

Hi Lisa, the best time to visit Port Douglas and the Whitsundys is our winter/spring. It gets very humid in the summer and is also stinger season so not much fun in the sea.
