Thing is when a ball is being bounced outside you can hear and often feel it. (We had a neighbour with a basket ball ring outside 3 houses up and you could hear it !! ) If you have a headache or trying to sleep its not nice. What really bugs me is that people should have manners and consideration for others thats how I was brought up. As children we were in big trouble if we were a nuisance to others. Yes kids have to play but not as the cost of others..... Same with music playing..If its for a short time and late at night on New Years Eve thats fine but not at 1030 on a school night.... And dont get me going on barking dogs !! those people who leave them outside, never walk them and they bark all day pissing everyone else off.. Its not really a case of whinging poms but having consideration. I suppose shared driveways are a pain yes where ever you live but really whats wrong with them playing in their own garden ?? driveways are for cars.

Hi has anyone bought any clothes or swimwear from telcos online ? What was you experience ? I need a long length swimsuit, bought one last year from debenhams online and it was a great fit....not much on m and s but some nice ounces at tesco.... so just wondered if anyone had any info to share ? cheers lynne

Some great comments and ideas on here. We are in our 5th year now and this is what we find works best... When it gets hot and we want to use the air conditioning it does seems silly to heat the house up with cooking too. So we have salads ands cold food, also buying a cooked chicken like mentioned above but the do go quick from the shops. We have a Webber kettle bbq to cook a roast outside and can also spit roast a chicken, that all works a treat. Things that are cooked in the house if you really fancy something are ok if cooked really quick like stir fry. When it has been very hot (i.e. 40) for most of the week you tend to yearn for a proper cooked meal, so we then go out to a nice air conditioned place and let someone else do the cooking. Some places do half price meals at tea time, such as Mick Osheas down south, 5 to 6 pm weekdays and is a nice treat when its hot... Still what we all need it lots and lots of water at that time, so dont forget guys keep drinking any chance you get.......enjoy the summer

Hi All, Should have added that the main selling item is the camper trailer. I am not at present selling all the camping gear seperatley... I want to offer the camping gear to the person that buys the camper trailer as likely they will be new to camping and need the gear. Therefore, it will be a good purchase to be able to buy the camper the second addon tent and the otehr stuff if you are just starting out. Great buy for a family just over and wanting to experience australia. The camper has a great large queen bed, the tent is made from top quality Australian canvas and also a brand new 4 man tent, a brand new never used portable toilet and many other items, including the electric box for plugging in at sites from 15amp down to 13 amp so that you can use standard electrical items.... Hello All, After having filled so many forms in for the provisional visa 5 years ago and then after 2 years resident here in Australia, applying for permanent residence, we are so over forms !! Just wondered if anyone has recently applied for Citizenship and if you are willing for me and others to share the final steps in this long journey !! I can see there is an online form to complete, is a lot required ? how long does it take and what are the steps ? also so you have to apply for an Australian passport ? what are the benefits of all this and can you still keep an British passport ?? I think this is the lady that wrote a book....If it is I got the feeling that this poor man was depressed anyway and just looking for something to help him out of it. It was obviously hard for his wife to live with him too and his despresion. I dont think it was anything to do with Australia, he may well have commited suicide even if her had never come to Oz... For sale: SORRY HERE IS THE PHOTO, THESE ARE REALLY THICK QUALITY COMFY CUSHIONS, CLEAN AND DRY WELL LOOKED AFTER... The cushions only....$ 100.00 for the lot. (i paid $400.00 for replacements as the colour didnt match our colour scheme) these are excellent quality very think furniture cushions hardly used. Oh dear sorry, my brief and vague typings have caused such confusion !!! what I mean by you MUST get extras cover first is that it is so expensive if you don't. I need a root canal and cap to a molar. The full price is $2350.00 I am getting this work done over 4 appointments, which will also take me over the new January "year" for the maxium of $1000 per year for my cover. I will only be paying about $400 of that figure due to the extras cover we have. The extras for the 2 of us costs us $80 per month and we both get 2 pairs of glasses every year free of charge from spec savers on that, hubby goes to chiros every couple weeks. I have had some dental work and more to come...so I am very happy with it !! I wouldn't like to be paying all that out for one tooth !!
