    887 Visa - What's the update?

Do you think Labor will address issues such as immigration timings etc. something like ours?

Not experienced in that area but i guess you can use your medicare card but i would still recommend to check with Medicare office; i am sure they can guide you or anyone here who might have some knowledge on this one.

My bit: if you are primary applicant and not moving then no need to update anything. Other members can also suggest.

    887 Visa - What's the update?

Apparently yes please see appended (attaching communication) for @CChapman Hi all, Our PR visa got approved yesterday! Applied 13/4/18, approved 14/5/19. Just a note for anyone wanting to know about documents: I re-applied for our AFP’s in March and uploaded them to make sure our documents were in line for a direct grant CO Nikki I did send several emails to immigration and made a call last week as we were on a strict deadline to get our visa approved before the 7% foreign investment stampduty would be non-returnable. This may or may not have helped our case- either way I hope you all get your visas approved soon so you can enjoy this beautiful country!

    887 Visa - What's the update?

Yes you can invite anyone i.e. your parents, siblings, relatives or friends. All you need to provide is invitation letter, your address proof, licence and bank statements.

    887 Visa - What's the update?

@Batra801I feel getting a letter from your employer should be a good idea as that would validate your payslips further. Plus technically there should be no difference and if there is then all the more reason that employer should issue a letter. I feel that it would be some bank charges getting deducted. As @Russki mentioned this should not be a big deal but but better safe than sorry :)....all the best!

    887 Visa - What's the update?

As far as my knowledge goes she doesn't need to satisfy same conditions as you and you can add her in your application as dependent. But as i mentioned before either some one who has similar experience can share his/her thoughts or you must check with DIBP.

    887 Visa - What's the update?

I will try to answer and rest other members can share there input; Your individual application will 100% not get impacted. Since you are primary applicant so you can apply as soon as you complete 2 years of mandate and nothing changes for you. I am sorry but i am not sure about your partner process; i highly recommend speaking with Immigration/DIBP.

    887 Visa - What's the update?

Very sad situation as i faced somewhat similar but for a friend though. My parents-in-law are frequent visitors to Australia as my sis-in-laws is also here and i can share with you the documents we/they provide: 1. Invitation letter from Australia 2. Bank statement and salary slips from Australia stating that we can support them 3. Copy of Australian license as residence proof 4. Parents bank statements for last 3 years 5. Parents pension etc. which comes in there bank including documents that they own house etc. back home 6. Parents Income tax return copies 7. Parents Insurance copies For us also its very important to show solid ground as both kids are in Australia and parents live back home. I would also recommend wait for few months and then apply again or if you have all the supports you can probably contest decision. All the best!

    887 Visa - What's the update?

In case you are a primary applicant for 887 then you don't need to provide any proof of English; the requirement would be for dependent who are 18 years old or more.

    887 Visa - What's the update?

You can either upload a certificate from your college/university stating that you passed your degree in English or anything like IELTS and PTE is good. I dont remember the exact band you can check that in the requirements for 887
