One of my friend applied 887, He got a job in a regional area and he will be based in regional area both living and working(office) however he needs to do some work in City Is this acceptable by immigration dept?? - you should be good as your work base is regional and you can travel anywhere either in Australia or overseas for work related activities. its very important to have an employment contract which shows that you are working for Adelaide based company.

I would highly recommend re-visiting what you have already submitted as there is whole lot of checks happening these days and possibly something that would be missing. And as already suggested call them and see if that helps. We are reading and hearing about lot of cases these days because of which genuine cases also are investigated. All the best!

You do not need to do anything till your 489 is active...any movement/travel done in between gets automatically recorded when you travel and your passport is scanned. Safe travels....enjoy!!

Hi - though i am not US citizen but the kind of profession i am i know that US citizens can obtain Federal Police clearance in some host countries. I have been using Fragomen's help for same but mind you the time taken is definitely more than getting the same done physically in home country (US). Try talking to Fragomen; hopefully you might get some resolution. All the very best!

You can be primary applicant and you can provide the same support for functional english that you would have provided for 489 and for your wife you can use the same IELTS cerificate which was used previously. All the best!
