Has anyone got the same reply? I sent the email from Migration Solution to those Giants, Acting Minister Alan is one of them. So this is the reply, liking kicking ball.

26-29 months, really awful but not a surprise. Every time we initiate an action, the prolonged processing time come back to hit us like an act of revenge. Feeling really toxic to deal with them.

Definitely misconduct of DHA! What is very odd about this situation is that for provisional 489 visa holders, which is a visa that has a permanent residence pathway, eg from a provisional or ‘first stage’ visa to a permanent or ‘second stage’ visa, the provisional 489 visa holder/887 visa applicant has already been counted towards the permanent Migration Program in the year when the provisional visa was granted. Therefore, when a person has previously been granted a visa which counted toward the Migration Program and where that person will not be counted again, how or more importantly why is it taking 24-28 months for an 887 to be granted.

I have been watching ABC news every day, just now ( 4 pm 06/04/2020 )ABC NEWS interviewed Acting Immigration Minister Alan Tudge, nothing about 489/887. All about international students again, especially talking about the 1 st year students, then casual workers, then backpackers, none of 489/887 visa holders. And, definitely, Alan Tudge is just an acting role, he can't and he wouldn't do anything with us.
