ajford replied to roscoand teri's topic in Recreation & Socialising
You could try myponga primary it's just past sellicks beach, I know quite a few kids go from there so it might not be zones. It's supposed to be a really good small school. -
Hi tyke, does the swing come apart? Lisa

Did someone really think we missed some of these things ?
ajford replied to AussieRob's topic in The Barbie
The only thing I buy is Coleman's mint sauce, because neither me or the kids like mint jelly. Never was one for branded products when in the uk and hated Heinz there stuff always tasted too vinegary. -
I tend to listen to mix 102, it plays a wider variety of music from different years. You can guarantee I always find something to sing along to, much to my sons horror. Lisa

Hi look on realestate.com.au there are a few on there. Also ring estate agents and ask them. Lisa

Hi ali Andy is a chef and he did his food safety handling thingy on line, sorry cant remember how much it cost. Don't know about the others. think you will have better chance of getting a ob when your over here, Andy applied for loads before we got here but didn't get any. on the plus side it got him a load of contacts when when we did arrive, he found a job pretty quick. Hope this helps Lisa

Hi Dont know where Tennyson is but if you google state swim they should have a list of pools that do lessons. Lisa

Hi if you need your stuff arriving quickly try the excess baggage company. We used these guys as we had excess and it worked out alot cheaper than what you get charged at the airport, our stuff arrived a week after us. If your looking at a part container you could be looking at upto 16 wks for your stuff to arrive in Adelaide from when they take it for you. We used John mason and we didn't have any problems with them for our furniture. Hope this helps Lisa

In for a penny etc.., at least this way you could stuff the crust while your at it, or add extra herbs, seasonings to the base also, I am sure your going to be ok, have fun

I will second seek.com for work.. And also try thinking out of the box so to speak, some of the jobs are called different job titles over here. A mate said he used to do cabling in the uk, and looked at line crew work here similar trade he said just called something different. You can also look up companies through the white pages,or google that type of industry then email them regarding work, You may not hear anything back from a few of them however the ones you do may become contacts for you, try keeping a log of the places and responses you receive, every little helps and try and stay positive

We have a German shepherd who's as soft as a brush only a puppy, I just hold him behind the outer door pretending he's really strong and won't stop barking. They soon move away if I attempt to open the outer door. Lol Lisa

S & W Whole egg mayo is good, greens gravy is as good as Bisto and cheaper, foodlands own whole meal bread is ok, yoghurt I only buy the kids pouchies but they work out about the same. You will get offer leaflets through your door twice a week, look at them you get some good money savings in them from the supermarkets. Don't really know about tea as don't drink a lot of it. All I would suggest is buy the smallest jar/tub/can if it's new to you. Lisa

Must admit I love my go kart. Never drove auto til I came here now I hate it when the car goes to garage and they give me a manual. Lisa
