I am Kerry, Neil is the OH who qualifies for state migration through his occupation but I do all the work ha ha. Just wanted to ask, needing to upload all our documents for the visa now and wondered who we get to certify them all as it says a justice of the peace??

It's the same for us, getting the visa on Gavs qualification as plasterer but I do all the work too! We got our paperwork certified by a family friend solicitor so we are lucky but I would imagine getting a solicitor to do it would probably be the easiest. perhaps phone a couple and ask what they charge?

Our paperwork was received on the 2nd of Feb, which is 7 weeks today, have most people had a 'decison ready' by now? am really worrying! xx

 

I didn't get decision ready as my status. It went straight to approved.

Morning I called them one night. The number is on another post on pio called calling diac, if you can't find it let me know and I will get it for you. I called about 10.30pm ask for post lodgement team. on hold for about 25 mins they confirmed the 1100 received. I would recommend calling for peace of mind.

 

Then only a few week wait for co hopefully :-)

Unfortunately we are going to have to put it off completely until we get there

We've talked about it and it's just too complicated to try before we go now. So to cheer ourselves up we are planning on treating ourselves to a little trip on the way probably to Thailand and surrounding areas. From what I gather you have to wait 2/3 months for you furniture anyway so we might as well make the most of it! It would probably cost us less money in Thailand anyway!

 

When are you planning on going ot Oz. We are going to wait til the last minute next year as we have to finish doing our flat up and get some money saved.

This is our 2nd baby - doesn't make the waiting any easier! I've got one more week at work then 2 weeks before he or she is due but I'm happy for it to come ASAP at the moment!

 

We probably won't move until 2013/2014 as we want to save some money and pay things off. But if I win the Euromillions tomorrow night then I'll go as soon as they'll let me in!
