Right the question on the SS application is

What is the total amount in Australian Dollars that you plan to bring to South Australia when you migrate (you are not required to sell any assets until your visa has been granted by DIAC)

 

So we have sent them a forecast of what we aim to have, which we will no doubt probably exceed, and we currently have slightly less than the amount required, so based on this do you think it may be an issue, I know its just a matter of opinion but thought or comments appreciated. Think Ross is sick fed up of me going on about it!

We just put down what we were taking but didnt mention what we did or didnt already have and they accepted ours. We just answered the questions straight ie taking $20,000 cash (I think) and we put we'd make money on selling our flat but we are hoping not to need to & take enough in cash.

claire, we did the same as cara but we diddent send any proof of income, it may be becuase you have sent two different amounts ie one you have now and one you hope to have... they may just be queriying that.....

at least it means there looking at it lol

From what I have heard from the other applicants,it changes to No Decision Yet, after Being Assessed. It is not long now before you know the outcome!
