My latest news since meds were finalised are a response to a PLE dated 17th June:

We completed our medicals on 24 May, the results were posted on 1 June by UPS and delivered to Sydney HOC on 6 June. Now they are referred.....since 14 June. Arrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!

It aint actually bothering me as much now! I am sleeping all night without getting up at 3am then 5am! We are going to wait this week and if we hear nothing will contact our agent.

 

The agent advised the timescales are up to 3months from date of lodgement, so next week will be will be the 3months.....well kind of lol!

Planning isn't too bad at the moment. Just getting quotes for flights, shipping etc and trying to work out cost/implications of renting our house out. I wanted to get a few bits done as we're off on holiday next week for 2 weeks with my extended family (who don't know yet - nor does my mum!).

 

I have my fingers crossed that one day I'll check on here and you'll say 'visa granted!'

Had our meds today all went fine and the kids were great, but they could only find me on our TRN so had to do paper, iv sent an email to our CO and they are going to have another look tomorrow when another tech guy is in.

Our bloods won't be back till Tuesday but if it's posted it wont leave till next Friday so I guess that will mean a wait of 2/3 weeks until Sydney receive and process them.

 

It's great we are done but now it's the final waiting aaahhhh.

 

Roll on our holiday in 2 weeks...

Had our meds today all went fine and the kids were great, but they could only find me on our TRN so had to do paper, iv sent an email to our CO and they are going to have another look tomorrow when another tech guy is in.

Our bloods won't be back till Tuesday but if it's posted it wont leave till next Friday so I guess that will mean a wait of 2/3 weeks until Sydney receive and process them.

 

It's great we are done but now it's the final waiting aaahhhh.

 

Roll on our holiday in 2 weeks...

Hi Sarah, the same thing happened to us I emailed case officer they get someone else to sort this out. I think it happens a lot to people who have had visa in for long time, you should still be able to do it online.

Hi all

 

I have only just realised I should be green lol, we got our case officer, 12 hours after uploading our docs, so when I joined the visa lodged section we already our c/o.

Police checks received 16th june and uploaded, so its just meds now on the 30th.....nearly there phew

It would be great for it to be done online then atleast I know when things have gone/arrived.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes and support. It has been a long wait for us, exactly 1 month after meds got finalised. But as they say, it's all worth it when you see your visa grant.

Heard from CO this morning said to get them to check again, then the clinic tells me they cant as they didn't take my picture! Well they didn't take a photo of any of us! I know it's a delay of only about a week but it's just frustrating...
