I am 489 relative sponsor and fulfill requirement of apply to 887 ( 2 yrs designated area & 1 yr full-time work).

yes you have complied with the prerequisites to apply for 887 visa but it was not approved yet. you are still under the conditions of 489 visa, that is to live and work in regional area..unless your 887 visa is approved, you cannot live and work in sydney

Thats good mate...atleast someone got allocated to co from this forum....is anyone else from dec or nov 2015 got allocation or grant...I guess they have started picking up

files....

Hello Preet congrats for CO allocated. Is your secondary applicant 3 years valid IELTS result expired ?

If yes only then CO ask a fresh new IELTS result.

Hello everyone

 

Hope everyone is OK and soon to hear good news from any member who applied for 887.

I'm on 489 visa currently and gonna apply for 887 on 18th-April.

 

I went through the immigration website and got the check list of documents. Preparing all package but still have some questions:

1. Do I need to provide my Super documents as well for my job?

2. which one is required ANP or NPC? or is there any difference at all as in immi website has mentioned ANP.

3. I've been living in a shared house with other people for 8 months. how can I show my residency proof for that 8 months?

4. To have or not to have the Private health insurance has any effect on the case or irrelevant totally?

5. And more important which is my the biggest concern; my wife which is the dependent in 489 and 887 visa has provided her functional English documents for 489 visa (overall 5.0). and the test result is still valid till 10-May-16. Shall I have any stress about providing new test result or paying installment?

 

I know that;s too many questions but I;m sure all you guys have been through this process and questions.

Appreciate all your help :)

Hi, every body, i am MURALI, i have applied my 887 on 16 feb 2016. my 487 visa expires 22nd may 2016, just i want to know once my bridging visa which is 887 will effect from 22nd midnight 2016, so after that can i able to move to Melbourne.

can able to add me in to list please. thank you

 

 

Hi Murali,

Check online immi could extend your 487 visa. It happened to me. Visa grant notice issued in 2013 gives expiry as 6/3/2016 but online it gives as 13/7/16. This incidentally is 3 yrs from my first date of arrival. All the best.

Thanx for reply, i do not need to extend my 487 visa which is valid for three years and moreover i have already applied my 887 visa, so once my 487 visa expires then my 887 bridging visa will effect from that day, so just i want to know whether i can move to melbourne and start working over there. thank you

yes es you can move if your 487 visa expired and you are on bridging visa.
