887 Visa - What's the update?

I could see the status of my application has been updated to, "Application received - processing commenced".

Does this mean that my application has been assigned to a CO?

what is the shortest and longest processing time from 489 to 887 that you guys ever know? normal processing time is 6months.

 

Longest processing time should be the following one as per the table.....no CO is allocated yet...

i have uploaded the same docs in the first stage( ie : GP report and consent emedical signed form. At this stage, health checkup link was not activated for my new born baby nor HAP id.

 

After 2 weeks, i found that the health assessment for my bub was activated and my bub was asked to go for medical checkup physically. General Medical checkup -501 .It was done a month before. Now Waiting n waiting

We are waiting for more than 6 months. We filed 887 on 12th May. Co allocated on 5th Oct submitted docs on 10 Oct after that no response. Waiting waiting n waiting..

I don't know what happen to immigration, why the co officers act like strangers, even they give you their name, email detail. but it just like nothing. you still cannot communicate with them at all. i do sick all of this. I missed two house action. just because no pr. what are they doing? working so slow. we fulfilled our responsibilities, they just give excuse.

Gary007 did you try contacting the Immigration Dept? Because in your case they have already gone past their service standards of 6 months as well as the 28 days for the CO to review and reply to you.

I had tried calling the Immigration Dept on 28th October after I received email from CO on 27th October and submitting the documents on the same day but I was told that the CO will only review my case after 28 days irrespective of me submitting the docs on the same day. Hence now I am eagerly waiting for my 28 days to get over so that I can try contacting them again in case if I do not get the grant by then.

 

But you have already gone pass your 28 days as well as 6 months processing time. I highly suggest you try to contact them and try to understand whats wrongs as they do not have any reason to give you now.

how much money spend and how much energy dedicated. just for the gold mail. I have spend 8 years in Australia, study and work. Australian government make rules, we follow steps by steps, but they act no respect. WHAT I want just these 8 years can be paid off. I will NOT keep silence if there is no response after 28 days.

I contacted immigration twice via email but no response. Actually my wife and my son are going overseas in Nov end for 8 - 9 weeks and so I forwarded them the itinerary requesting immigration to consider my situation and give me grant. Still no reply from their end.

I uploaded the documents 2 days after the case officer asked for them. I never heard from him/her up until almost 8weeks when l got the grant. After uploading clicked the button, information added on immi account.

Manas might be receiving his grant soon!!! Leo, Sammy and 10July16 any updates? U have been waiting for such a long time and none of your files are being allocated by CO? have u checked it with the DIBP? its time you guys hav to take some action...how long you are gonna wait this way...
