washing powder differences

Just a quick questions, what happens if I use front loader powder in a top loader? is it all good still?

Hmm, not sure - I know if I put powder for a top loader in my front loader, I get bubbles coming up through the vent in the floor... but not sure about the other way round!

My front loader Duo packet says it is suitable for 'high efficiency' top loader machines.

Don't think it would matter that way round (ref OP). If it didn't wash as well (front loader is lower suds) then you can just boost it with soda crystals or something. I like to use less powder with soda crystals anyway.

 

Also you can use top loader powder in a front loader machine to make it go further... just use less than they say because as Diane says, they create more bubbles! I've done that for sad money saving idea before. But the soda crystals is a better way of saving money, probably.

You use too much powder that's all.

I bought top loader powder when I got here by mistake and yes it was fine but you need to use less.....
