I got it sorted eventually. Airline gave me old passport number and visa was linked to my passport so all good. We can finally come home.

I'm in holiday I the uk. It has been a nightmare. My littles boys passport has gone missing somehow. Anyway I have replaced the passport but trying to get the visa attached so we can come home is a nightmare. I have the form 929 to fill in and return. It is asking for details of old pasdport number and visa grant number. I haven't got these details as passport is lost and visa grant letter is at home somewhere. Immigration won't give me details over the phone so I'm stuck. Anybody got any ideas.

The truth is he has cut and run. Yes he has left debts. Not only rent but freezers and tills were leased. Fairwork were involved trying to get wages that were owed. Super hasn't been paid. I was employed by Blightys and for the last six months it wa always their intention to move away in December. I have now been given two weeks notice as they can't afford to pay my salary anymore. My hubby did his wiring regs through peer. He also applied to TRA. Once he had both approvals he then got his Grade A. he didn't have to be supervised at all. Hi there, my hubby is an electrician and was self employed also. He worked subcontracting most of time so he didn't have trade suppliers ref you can do a stat declaration to explain what he does. I would put a lot of detail into it. Also for client ref we ask the companies he had done work for to give him references. I actually wrote the references and asked them to copy onto there letter head. Keep all your information and tax returns as he will need to apply for the artc one he arrives for his A Class. Hi my husband got his ARTC earlier this year. We sent loads of information detailed references stat decs even accounts as he was self employed. You have to send at least 7 years worth of evidence. Dont mention if you have done the vetessases as we know people who have been granted a grade B licence because of this. You need to be in OZ to apply now as they changed the rules last November. Also its electrical Machanic you need to apply for not Fitter. There is loads of information on British Expats forum on the Electrical threads. That where i got most of information to do my Husbands. The more you send in the better. We sent over 50 pages and his was granted.

That is dicusting! I do find that overall standard are poor in oz.
