Yes what Nick11 has said is true. My friend has been told she has to be clear for 5 years. So unless you had permanent visa which by the sound of it you dont i would definatley seek advice from a migration agent. Good luck and hope it works out for you.

We have to enter before 1/3/12 so we are going in feb. We have just booked a rental so looking at flights too. We had a few drinks last night and its hubbies birthday today so having a few more tonight and watching the boxing.

After a very long wait our visa was granted today. We first started our journey in Feb 2008 when we appointed our agent. We were effected by all the changes and we swapped from a 175 to ss 176. Then medicals were referred for 4 months. Today we were granted a 175 visa. We still want to come to Adelaide so see you all in Feb.

HI there. Yes seen specialist and he has to send a report to panel doc for him to send onto Sydney. Checked status and nothing changed so they havent recieved it yet. My fate lies in the hands of others..... LOL...... Should not be too much longer specialist said we had nothing to worry about so thats good. I see you plan on leaving in August keep us informed if any jobs going for other half (sparky). We hope to leave in Feb going to have one last xmas with my older children and grandchildren.

Well just to see if i hold the record. My sons medical has been referred for 75 days and counting. We actually did our medicals on March 04 and were refered on 29th. Anyone else waited this long.????????????????????

HI we had our med 4 March and they my sons was referred on 29 March so feels like life has stood still for a while. We are renting our house out as we have dropped price twice now and not willing to give it away. As soon as we get grant we are moving in with my parents as we have a friend coming home from NZ who is going to rent it with a view to buy later. We intend to leave about feb. Thats if were still not referred lol.

I think thats the standard email they send. I would contact your co and ask as they will know if your medicals have been referred. Good luck.

IT has been 86 days since the medical and now at day 61 been referred (i think ).

We first applied for a 175 and changed to 176 in Dec 09. When we got email from CO asking for us to go for medicals it did say 175. So dont know what we are being considered for but it doesnt really matter as we were wanting to go to SA anyway. i wouldnt worry about it.
