It will soon be christmas 2012 so one has to ask. What ever was/is a christmas t-shirt. I realise of course tat wearing a t-shirt in adelaide in December would be a tad different to wearing one in the UK at the same time :-)

I know this is an old thread but without a doubt it was probably one of the best threads we ever had on PIA. The shame of it though is the number of members that no longer post her on PIA, it always makes me wonder what happened to the members. Did they stay, did they go, are the happy or sad. I never did get to try a pie floater, and when we tried to get into Hooters, the bouncers stopped us cos my mate had been previously banned, for hooter tooting apparently!! Sounded like a fishy story to me though :-))))

Sounds interesting, do you draw up the plans yourself or employ a architect?

I was watching a re run of an old wish you were here , where are they now this morning that i taped earlier in the year. This tome it was about a family from Gwent called the Corbett's who ended up in Adelaide. They originally hoped to buy land and do a self build house but ended up emigrating around 2009 and buying a home already built. It had me wondering if they were ever members here, if they stayed in Oz and more importantly if anyone on the forum built there own house once they got to Adelaide?

I'm sorry to read this. I don't remember the particular tv show. But as a parent I feel for you.

2 storey. big patio door type windows one each side for blow through and aircon for when they are shut. Big glass dome on the roof for 360 deg telescope type thing wired to a computer and monitor for seeing all that beautiful landscape :-)
