I know we will get there in the end - there are people who are still doing skills assessments etc and haven't even applied for ss yet - at least our applications are in and we will be well up the list by now.

SOooooooo fed up with waiting for the post, the second it arrives I will be hitting the 'apply' button on the SS site and then the waiting starts all over again!

Mind you, we still have the points after the changes (but are afraid OH's job will be taken off the list!) where a lot of people on here don't, so we haven't got that worry. Good luck to everyone who hasn't got the points after July....it's a nerve wracking time, really hope you hear something soon!

I have been looking at the list for state sponcorship and they are removing occupations, are you all aware of this! I am still ok for now, if your occupation is no longer available, you do not get accepted even if they have your documents unless you already have approval. Thought it best to inform everyone, sorry to those who have already been removed.

Im getting very worried about ours. we didnt put loads and loads why we wanted to move im worried this is now going against us now. Medical nurses are still on the SMP but wonder if they do a job lot then take off?? well there is nothing i can do about it now!!

Why dont you sent them a mail it may just jog them a bit seeing as you applied in December. I am sure it is fine maybe they havent sat a medical panel yet? We sent one to chase and although they didnt tell us much only confirmed it could take 8 weeks it didnt go against us.

 

It might put your mind at rest. Although i cant see them not approving you in your profession. fingers crossed for you xx

Thanks, I've calmed down a bit and it is def a good sign that you guys have got approved, it means they're slowly working through them. Also plastering is still on the list at the moment touch wood. Fingers crossed.
