Hi we have the Visa granted (176 skilled migration) 1st Sept.

Presently trying to order my thought process for clearing out house, letting and booking flights....

Hoping to fly to Aus around Oct, and Adelaide by November - Just in time for the wifes 40th

Hello

How are you all? I havent been on here in ages and I am missing everyones chat! We have been realy busy getting everything organised we fly out 6 weeks today it does not feel real.

On the plus side I have 20 working days left - its going in all so quick. We are quite lucky we dont have to sell the hous etc. only the car that we have to worry about.

Is anyone going to be there 21st of October onwards? Cara I am gutted we are missing you guys, would have been great to catch up!

Good to hear from you.... I was thinking about you the other day wandering how you were getting on with all your plans.

Can not believe you go in 6 weeks.... how exciting!!!!

We booked our flight yesterday and fly out 29th Dec, we have a week in Hong Kong and arrive in Adelaide on 6th Jan.... Will have to get your email address so can get in touch and meet up when we arrive.

Hi all, not long now. 13 days till we fly with oneway ticket to Adelaide. Mixed emotions at minute,working in Frankfurt on motorshow till Monday. Then back to Uk with 9 days at parents home. Trying to stay strong for my kids & Am.

Hi Claire,

Lovely to hear from you. We've been really busy too & we're not even emigarting yet! Still we are working on our flat and getting stuff ready for the holiday. Really can't wait to get out there - 13 days and counting! But really sad that we're going to miss you guys! What a shame! Anyway we will move out eventually and you'll have to give us updates so we know what to expevt when we get out there! We will be moving out 1-2 years depending on a lot of factors but mostly money. Hopefully we'll have more of an idea when we come after a bit of research as to how much money we will need etc.

You must be soooo excited now! Have you go everything organised? Are you going straight to Adelaide or doing a bit of travlling first? Bet its so lovely to count down work. I'm enjoying the countdown but unfortunately we have to come back!

Hi Dean,

I can imagine the mixed emotions! I already feel a bit of it and we're only going to validate, God knows what I will be like when we're ready to actually emigrate!! I guess you just have to believe in what you are doing & trust in the decisions you made before the emotions got involved! lol It is a really difficult thing to do but at the end of the day you will still see people & stay in touch all the time and it doesnt have to be forever if it doesnt work out.
